The Difference Between Invention And Innovation
Invention is the practice of coming up with something new. Innovation, however, is delivering something new to a market that wants it. In other words, innovation is figuring out how to take something new and actually bring it to market successfully. In the grand scheme of things, it’s not hard to see why innovation should be more important than invention — since it’s really innovation that helps drive progress and make things better for people. An invention without the corresponding innovation is somewhat useless.

your post states what looks as 2×2 in the secular world, and I agree with you (the sunset looks indeed so), but that grieves me the most. As an artist I am to chose either to invent (to remain faithful to morality, symbolism of art colors and the eternities) or to be “Wise” (to exchange the ideals into the market success-to be innovative)
My impotency to be innovative explains my current financial situation, but the eternities demands the sacrifice and rewards the faithful immediately with incredible riches of spiritual realm that it is impossible to get as the market deal.
