Can you see it now?
Back in July I attended Harvard’s program on “Leading Product Innovation.” Upon my return to Chicago I managed to get a couple of new initiatives up and running.
The first one focused on gathering my thoughts under a framework best known as “the 8 eyes of innovation,” which has become one of the key practices for the consulting work we do at innobarista inc.
The second initiative was inspired by Jason Randal, one of the world’s leading close up magicians, who delivered a masterclass at Harvard on what it takes to innovate in his field. He also shared best practices of interest to anyone dealing with new product development.
As a result, this blog, canyouseeitnow, is one of the tools I am using to initiate myself in the world of optical illusions and visual perception.
At this point, canyouseeitnow, is mostly an exercise focusing on gathering and sharing items related to visual phenomena. I commit to making improvements over time and would appreciate your suggestions.
In parallel, I would like to ask you for your insights and will welcome discussions on how any of the subjects shared in this blog might relate to what it takes to innovate in the 21st century. As an example, I believe that emotional design, human factors engineering and QoE, quality of experience, would be some of them.
In the meantime, I hope you are enjoying canyouseeitnow. If so, please let the word out to help grow and enrich this discussion.
